This gluten free relish is made with red capsicum, onion and red jalapeno chilli.
It is a great combination of sweet and heat that makes a really scrummy addition to a cheeseboard, a toasted sandwich or dotted on your mac'n'cheese.
Why Six Chilli? When I started making this relish it was unspiced...that doesn't work in my household so I kept adding chillies to the batches until I got to the heat level we preferred - that was six chillies in a batch so here is Six Chilli relish!
Only the red coloured capsicum (peppers) are used in this relish so that it can be told apart from the non-spicy version (Sweet Pepper Relish) which contains red and orange or yellow peppers.

We grow as many of the ingredients for our preserves as we can and although not a registered organic grower, we follow organic growing principles.
Any other ingredients that we cannot grow, we source locally if possible.
