Description

A chipotle, or chilpotle, is a smoke-dried ripe jalapeño chilli pepper used for seasoning.
It is a chilli used primarily in Mexican and Mexican-inspired cuisines.
The use of chipotle chillies creates a smokey BBQ sauce and this one is sweetened with rhubarb and honey. 
This sauce is the mildest of our chilli sauces but has a lovely smokey flavour. 
Add it to the dressing on your potato salad - especially if you add crispy bacon to the salad!

Full of flavour, free of gluten.
Vegetarian.

Scrubby Gully is based in Central Otago.
We grow as many of the ingredients for our preserves as we can and although not a registered organic grower, we follow organic growing principles.
Any other ingredients that we cannot grow, we source locally if possible.
